For this project I was tasked with writing the maze and maze cell classes. The maze class parses a string looking for the start point, finish point, and any walls, this is stored in an array of maze cell objects. From this a 2d maze is constructed. The maze cell class contains methods for getting and setting each maze cell's status, owner, and parent. It also computes the distance between cells. By far the most challenging part was constructing a 2d maze of cells. To do this I had to store the string in a character array then use that character array to construct and array or objects. I would like to revisit this code to see if this process can be simplified.
